“Happy Mother’s Day Mommy”

“To all the Mother’s in the Universe, here physically & spiritually. This includes women who have carried life, given birth, nurtured, raising/raised, who haven’t given birth but have and are in the lives of individuals as a Mother figure as well, and even those Mothers, who have made mistakes and life didn’t go as planned or intentioned… I honor your existence. I do not celebrate holidays, but I will pay my respect to the Mother’s. For without you, life would cease to exist.  And may I say to each one of you, have a beautiful acceptance of self, who you are and your purpose in life.

I Thank-You.”

“HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY MOMMY”

As I gaze upon the world around me…

Up springs a little smile,

Pulling at the corners of my mouth.

I drink in the views of families, women,

Going about their daily business,

Almost oblivious to their surroundings.

I purchase a bouquet of roses; your favorite.

Beautiful, full, saturated with color,

Caressed by well-placed Baby’s Breath.

Walking & handing out one-by-one, until they’re all gone,

To shocked and happy faces, thank-you’s and embraces,

Filled with love, is how I want to remember you.

Just sharing a piece of your heaven…

“Happy Mother’s Day Mommy.”

*I Love You Always, Mommy – Although you are not here in this physical 3-D realm, I feel your energy around and within me. I miss you BabyGirl.

{Maxwanette A Poetess} I have been writing poetry since the age of 5. I enjoy poetic expression and feel that, "Everyone Is A Poet." We all speak and in our speech, we express a message, that is usually attached to an emotion and or feeling. To me, this is poetry in it's natural form.

  1. This is so beautiful…
To give to strangers your mother’s favorite flower on Mother’s Day…what a wonderful way to honor her! I love you for that freedom and generosity. Your love of your mother, all Mothers, all nurturers in this world is tangible. My mother’s flower is a white rose and forever, the white rose will be mystical to me.
