“Good Old Gulfport, Mississippi”.... “New Beginnings” As the old fades into the background, The path to self, Is grounded in my mind’s eye. No longer shackled to the drudgery, of the condemned. Instead, I take a fresh breath, As life continues. One of three, I stand forward, In front of the line, Of my own experiences. Around the proverbial bend, I move on again, Onto the infinite journey, that has no end… Starting of, “New Beginnings.” *Inspired by one of my best friends (Quita Ramsey). She also came up with the title & suggestion of this picture, that she took. “Imma’ take this picture & you can go write a poem.” I couldn’t resist, lol! With “New Beginnings” comes new people, places, and things. All of which combine into beautiful experiences. ~Mississippi 2016. © Maxwanette A Poetess, All Rights Reserved.
