*Kintsukuroi

The journey of this life has left scars,

embedded deeply within my being.

Experienced moments,

become the spider-like web of construction.

Mirrored cracks & creases,

are the consistent reminders that I lived.

I wear my battle-wounds PROUDLY,

for they’re the trophies of life continuing &

lessons learned.

As I Am,

exhibiting the freckles of time,

Honored preservation,

a reminder of the existence I bare.

“KINTSUKUROI!!!”

I breathe & live again.

I looked at it & I saw myself in a variety of ways. Dynamic Artist!” The piece in its originality is located below.” ~Maxwanette A Poetess

  • I am humbled and honoured that such beautiful words would be associated with something I have made! Your poetry is certainly the language of the soul. You convey life’s truth with beauty and light and honesty. I want to share this on my website in the next day or so.

    Thanks for making my day!

      • Thank you! You are pretty inspirational to me. I actually have spoken about you and your poetry to a few of my personal friends. And my mind is still blown away by the concept of ‘Overstanding’ 😉

      • WoW, I’m at a loss for words…I started writing, just for myself really. To know that I’ve affected you in such a way? Well it’s an overwhelming feeling of love that I think many of us has forgotten still exists.

I’m laughing, smiling, & joyous to have such a positive affect on you or anyone else for that matter🤗. This shows me that my purpose in life is being fulfilled. You empower, confirm, & validate the sheer power of what LOVE really is, a communicative connection where we nourish, flourish & share. Absolutely Lovely!

As for overstanding? Lol, ahhh my friend you’re doing it very well indeed😊
