“It’s Been 25-Years”
It was cold for the warmth felt forced.
Love never lasted there…
Not for long.
Energies refusing to mesh.
No matter how badly,
their fleshy hosts wanted them to.
Was it time, distance or impatience?
Was it even real?
Fading away, like morning dew on a hot day.
Not one tear formed nor fell.
No sleep lost,
nor was there any pain…
It’s been 25-years. A lost facade in time.
