What Do I Write??? First, always keep something to write on and with, nearby. You never know what, where, who, or when, a poem may pop into your head. So try to be prepared to jot it down or record it somehow. Pen & paper, along with a good phone, can certainly come in handy. There is no perfect environment for a poem, per say. Start off, with a mere thought, be it pre-selected or random, and write it down. Just freestyle it. Write whatever comes to mind. And remember, all poems do not have to rhyme! You might just surprise yourself😉.
