New Reader Magazine is looking for poetry, prose, art, and other oddities for issue 11, “Hiding in Plain Sight”.
New Reader Magazine is a quarterly journal for arts, culture, and the written word. When we’re caught up with everything around us, we sometimes miss out on the little details that matter or maybe are even blinded by something that’s preventing us from seeing the bigger picture. For this quarter, we’re looking for pieces that imply secrecy, hidden gems, and/or the mind-boggling insights on life.
All fiction must be a minimum of 500 words and all prose a max of 4000.
Complete submission guidelines on our website. https://www.newreadermagazine.com/
Send queries and submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deadline of submissions is on August 14, 2020.

You may notice that we feature Poets with their Poetry in our “Poet of the Day” posts, which Poetry In Pics is very similar. However, the difference is that Poetry In Pics, feature Poets that are alive, fairly current and or new to the Poetry Scene. It’s a way of putting a face to the Poetry that we read, share & follow.
Some Poets don’t wish to be seen & we respect their privacy. But for those who want to be recognized, this suits them well. We also attach links to the Poets such as a bio, books, publications, performances, etc.
So if you’re interested or know someone that is, please feel free to contact us via Facebook Messenger – Poetry, Language Of the Soul or e-mail: email@example.com (Include POETRY IN PICS – In the Subject line).
“The resources, contacts, information, guides…I could go on & on. I LOVE POETS & WRITERS MAGAZINE! It’s a Poets & Writers Guidebook. It’s a gem! – I don’t work for them but I do have a subscription…
One of the numerous things I like about them is, their resources & information is worldwide. It’s inspiring as a Poet(ess) to see it’s existence. I don’t promote buying anything on my blog or anywhere else, except for WordPress /Poets & Writers Magazine. I don’t have to Google it, I can speak from my personal experiences. ~Maxwanette A Poetess

“Being from NY, this piece was relatable. Being Human, this was was deeply felt. Beautiful expression Mr. McNeil! As this poem sheds light on Mr. McNeils view of humanity at its low. It makes one think of their own way in which they may/may not turn a blind eye to the suffering of our fellow human beings. At the very least? Mr. McNeil forces one to get in touch with their moral compass that determines our humanity or inhumanity. Dynamic Piece!”~Maxwanette A Poetess
These are just a few resources & a more narrowed, birds-eye view of what’s going on, on the Poetry Scene.
Wherever you reside or visit? Simply Google what’s available in your area. Many of the links also have Facebook pages.

I personally subscribe to P&W Magazine. Yes, in these days of Modern Technology, I’m excited for it’s existence.
I don’t work for them, I don’t know anyone that works there, they’re not giving me credit for mentioning them (I doubt they know I exist beyond my subscription, lol!), they’re simply a great resource for what & whom???…
“Poets & Writers”…Duhhh!!! Lol 😂🥰
But seriously. I LOVE THIS MAGAZINE!!!
