I use various types of sounds and inputs. However, it serves to relax my mind, body, & Soul. I am often able to meditate to Jazz, Opera, Dub Riddim (Reggae Music – The Version), and others.
So, meditation for me? Isn’t always about Zen music, smudging (sage burning), essential oils, incense, and teaching myself everything Buddha said. It helps, lol, but there is so much more to it.
I can meditate in a crowded area, and find inner calmness, right where I Am. It is like zoning-out, but not completely. I can do it, looking at a picture. Many know how to do that. It is also on the lines of daydreaming. You go in your Zone. You find a space to take a moment or break, to have serenity. You even regulate your breathing patterns; exhale, inhale a few times and recenter.
Because it simply feels darn good, lol! It gives me a moment to relax, let go of stress, and negative energies.
Sure when I start? My mind is usually racing and or bogged down with something. It takes a moment to relax, quiet the brain, and allow the vibes to do what they do.
I for one, lay down, get comfy, make sure my Himalayan Salt Lamps are on, burn my sage, set my tones (sort of like the Tibetan Bowls sound), play my meditation music and let go, bit by bit, until I’m fully in a meditative state. I stretch, hug myself, fart – yes, I said fart, lol! The colon has to meditate too, lol! And often, by the time I’m fully into it, I’m falling asleep. Internal & External Oneness & Peace.
“How Can We Talk About Relaxation & Meditation During Chaotic Times???”
Simple. Especially during times like these, taking out time for relaxing & meditating is VITAL. The Body, Mind & Soul needs to reaffirm, refocus, recenter, recharge & realign itself or the functions will be poor & limited. So burn some sage, listen to some meditative sounds, breathe and then get going!
Get comfortable, click the YouTube link under the picture, close your eyes, breathe deeply, slowly inhaling & exhaling. Relax your body, let the sounds & the music, help to ease away the tightness & stress within your body. Don’t worry about clearing your mind, simply listen to the music. Your mind will follow. Relaxation & Meditation are vital to a happier & longer existence.
Many are sooo, stressed-out right now. Why not take full advantage of the beautiful meditation music, sounds & scenery.
Get your diffuser, put some lavender rosemary & peppermint oils (I use 1 drop of each) – there are many other mixtures that are available, so try what works for you, see them posted below, kickback, relax, close your eyes or watch the video. Inhale & exhale deeply. Let your mind wander until it rids itself of the noise & thoughts.
If you fall asleep? That’s fine. That’s a beautiful, restful, rejuvenating & healing thing.
The beauty & sounds of Nature are soothingly tranquil. Take time out to relax, lay down or rest comfortably in your favorite chair, close your eyes, breathe in & out – inhale, exhale and go with the flow
It was obvious that my Home-Grown Water Garden wasn’t finished. It was time to try my luck with cabbage. I admit, I’m a tad excited & my veggie garden is coming along rather nicely…
And why not? The cost of food is getting ridiculous, the lines & lack of certain foods is also an issue. And if you’re not crazy about going out during this shelter-in-place, growing what you can at home is a beneficial idea.
What does one do with so much time on their hands these days? Honey, simply Relax & Meditate. Sure, you might fall asleep, but that’s fine. With enough stress to go around? A relaxing & cleansing nap wouldn’t hurt🤗 “Namastè & One Love”❤💛💚
