Many of us have gone through or are going through so much in this life. Now, I am not a religious individual, so I follow no religion. However, I am a spiritual individual & have trust in the power of The Most High, Our Ancestors, & within Self
So much abuse – child abuse/elder abuse/ domestic abuse/self abuse/animal abuse, pain, loss of life & loved ones, sacrifices, mistreatment, unfairness, ailments – physical & mental, poverty – losing your job/not having a job, homeless – right now some are reading this and are without a decent place to sleep, hunger – many reading barely have enough to eat or wondering where the food is going to come from & even praying for another Stimulus Check, illiterate – yes not knowing how to read & comprehend is a silent hell for many, racism, injustice, hatred of self & by others, lonely – no special someone or even surrounded by others but still alone, crime, looking back on the past, while hating your now & dreading your existence day-by-day, not to mention the losses & fears of COVID-19, the list can go on & on and we end up wallowing in the pit of chaos.
I have no magic answers. But what I can say is, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I love all of you. Yes, even though I don’t know most of you personally, lol! So what? So, I have to know you, to have love & compassion for you? No! As human beings, it’s the right thing to do, to have love for your Brothers & Sisters, as we are each others keepers. What we need? People who can listen when you feel the need to vent or cry. People who aren’t scared to say “I’ve been there & I’m sorry you’re suffering.” People who can reach out & simply offer a hug, phone-call, text, or video chat. Maybe you can even share a meal or clothing with someone less fortunate. They don’t even have to know it’s you. I’ve dropped food & money on a families doorstep without them even knowing. I don’t have much, but I share what I can. And if you’re religious? Then keep up your prayers, while trying to physically help someone, don’t just sit there praying all day & waiting for a miracle. Someone can use your help, somewhere, trust me.
We’re on Facebook, sometimes daily or all day. But do we really know the struggles that people are going through? Do we care? Do we even ask?…
Yes, we all have lives, but remember we’re not living in this world alone. There are many on here, who contact me & we chat. Not because of anything, except to have a listening ear. I’ve met some amazing Souls here too by the way. So, my point is, take a moment to ask people if they’re okay. It could mean the world to someone & change a life.

Maxwanette, Why Do You Meditate?
Because it simply feels darn good, lol! It gives me a moment to relax, let go of stress, and negative energies.
Sure when I start? My mind is usually racing and or bogged down with something. It takes a moment to relax, quiet the brain, and allow the vibes to do what they do.
I for one, lay down, get comfy, make sure my Himalayan Salt Lamps are on, burn my sage, set my tones (sort of like the Tibetan Bowls sound), play my meditation music and let go, bit by bit, until I’m fully in a meditative state. I stretch, hug myself, fart – yes, I said fart, lol! The colon has to meditate too, lol! And often, by the time I’m fully into it, I’m falling asleep. Internal & External Oneness & Peace.
Just Try It!!! 😅❤💛💚

Simple. Especially during times like these, taking out time for relaxing & meditating is VITAL. The Body, Mind & Soul needs to reaffirm, refocus, recenter, recharge & realign itself or the functions will be poor & limited. So burn some sage, listen to some meditative sounds, breathe and then get going!
Get comfortable, click the YouTube link under the picture, close your eyes, breathe deeply, slowly inhaling & exhaling. Relax your body, let the sounds & the music, help to ease away the tightness & stress within your body. Don’t worry about clearing your mind, simply listen to the music. Your mind will follow. Relaxation & Meditation are vital to a happier & longer existence.

Get your diffuser, put some lavender rosemary & peppermint oils (I use 1 drop of each) – there are many other mixtures that are available, so try what works for you, see them posted below, kickback, relax, close your eyes or watch the video. Inhale & exhale deeply. Let your mind wander until it rids itself of the noise & thoughts.
If you fall asleep? That’s fine. That’s a beautiful, restful, rejuvenating & healing thing.

Life at times can be soooo stressful. As human beings, we should take time-out to destress and realign ourselves.
There are a variety of ways in which to Meditate. Personally, I choose Zen/Meditation Music. I love music, Nature & certain sounds resonate deeply with me. Now I don’t like all Zen/Meditation Music. Some sound like wailing banshees😅! So, I find what I like & works for me & fill-up my YouTube playlist.
I’ve had many say, “Max, Meditation doesn’t work for me!” I say what does one go into Meditation expecting? Maybe to become magically enlightened & float off into oblivion???
Lol, that may not occur physically in this lifetime! But mentally it’s happening.
Some simply fall asleep & swear nothing worked or changed. Really? Do you know what occurs within the body when at complete rest? HEALING on so many levels. We need rest in order to recharge and to bring clarity. So if the most you get out of Meditation is a good nap? What’s wrong with that?🤷🏾♀️
