Life at times can be soooo stressful. As human beings, we should take time-out to destress and realign ourselves.
There are a variety of ways in which to Meditate. Personally, I choose Zen/Meditation Music. I love music, Nature & certain sounds resonate deeply with me. Now I don’t like all Zen/Meditation Music. Some sound like wailing banshees😅! So, I find what I like & works for me & fill-up my YouTube playlist.
I’ve had many say, “Max, Meditation doesn’t work for me!” I say what does one go into Meditation expecting? Maybe to become magically enlightened & float off into oblivion???
Lol, that may not occur physically in this lifetime! But mentally it’s happening.
Some simply fall asleep & swear nothing worked or changed. Really? Do you know what occurs within the body when at complete rest? HEALING on so many levels. We need rest in order to recharge and to bring clarity. So if the most you get out of Meditation is a good nap? What’s wrong with that?🤷🏾♀️
Like I love to say, “Just try it!”😉
“I love the sounds of the Tibetan Bowls. There’s something about it, that renders me calm and relaxed INSTANTLY. It’s a deep experience for me. I can feel myself, traveling within myself & blossoming like a rose petal. Very, very soothing.” ~Maxwanette A Poetess
“I make sure to put aside moments for my own healing, meditating, relaxing, refocusing & recharging. It brings me such a calming comfort & sense of Self, Life, Love & Tranquility.”~Maxwanette A Poetess
The YouTube video I was listening to…
Where did the practice originate?
Burning sage — also known as smudging — is an ancient spiritual ritual.
Smudging has been well established as a Native American cultural or tribal practice, although it isn’t practiced by all groups.
We have the traditions of many Native American peoples to thank for its use. This includes the Lakota, Chumash, Cahuilla, among others.
Many other cultures around the world share similar rituals.
Read on to learn more about the benefits of burning sage and how you can use it to improve your overall well-being.

September 13-14, 2019 The World of Ballet
“I had a blast! The first check on my list? This performance had a 70’s theme. I was already sold! I couldn’t keep still in my seat! A wonderful show to say the least. The dancer that stood out the most to me was “Khalil.” He leaped so far & high in the air, that I was stunned! He was up, expanded & stayed in the air for quite a few seconds. It was as if he paused mid expansion. WHOA! The Georgia Symphony Orchestra was AMAZING! I clapped until my palms were raw! Great job to all of you. I will be returning in November for your rendition of The Nutcracker. I can’t wait!!!”~Maxwanette A Poetess

The performance was held inside this lovely theater.
Of course, I had to get pictures of the nightlife. Beautiful.
My favorite performance & dancer, Khalil.

And as if the night couldn’t be any better, this star was spotted on the way home. This dog was the furriest dog I’ve ever seen and ever so friendly. He’s sooo soft. I kid you not, I wanted to take him home😄😍
